PUBG Mobile Patch 1.6: Full notes and updates

PUBG Mobile Patch 1.6 is here with a lot of new features. The latest update will add a new mode to the game called Flora Menace. Several old modes will also be returning to the game soon.  The new version of the game will be released on Sept. 14. Players will require 690 MB of storage on Android devices and 1.68 GB on iOS to download the update. Updating the game before Sept. 19 will reward players with 2,888 BP, 100 AG, and the Justice Defender Backpack for three days.

The original PlayerUnknown, Brendan Greene, is officially leaving Krafton to pursue other ventures with a new studio more than two years after originally stepping away from development on PUBG.  Greene and his team, PlayerUnknown Productions, which was originally founded as a sub-studio under Krafton’s PUBG Corporation, are splitting from their parent company to explore “systems needed to enable massive scale within open-world games.” Under his online moniker as PlayerUnknown, Greene developed a game that became a massive success and revolutionized a genre that is now commonplace in multiplayer gaming conversations.

PUBG: New State pre-registrations begin in India

Pre-registrations for Krafton’s latest battle royale game PUBG: New State have kicked off in India. Players from the country can pre-register for the title on the Google Play Store or Apple’s App Store. When the game was announced in February 2021, pre-registrations weren’t open in India, which led to speculation in the community that the game won’t be releasing in the country. During the announcement today, Krafton addressed the delay and simply said that it “needed some time to prepare.” An official release date for the game hasn’t been released
