ArcSystemWorks announces ArcRevo 2021 schedule with Guilty Gear Strive as the only featured title

ArcSystemWorks is bringing back ArcRevo for a 2021 season, but the circuit’s third year of competition will only feature one title: Guilty Gear Strive. Low Tide City cancels Project+, Beyond Melee, and 64 Remix tournaments after discussions with Nintendo of America

Nintendo of America has stopped yet another Project+ event from taking place. The tournament organizers for Low Tide City have removed the modded game from its lineup following conversations with the company.  This doesn’t only affect Project+, though. Beyond Melee and 64 Remix have also been removed from the tournament due to the internal conversations.  The LTC TOs said Nintendo contacted them about the modded games included on the tournament’s main roster. Pokémon UNITE’s first official tournament will be hosted in Japan on Sept. 19

The Pokémon Company and TiMi Studio released the Pokémon franchise’s first MOBA, Pokémon UNITE, in July, and now the game is taking steps into becoming a competitive title with its first official tournament.  The event, which will run on Sept. 19, will only be open to Japanese players, but marks the start of sanctioned events for UNITE that will likely only continue to scale as the year goes on.  For interested players, registration will be done through the game’s official website ahead of the event.
