VALORANT player discovers out-of-bounds Killjoy Nanoswarm spot on Split

A VALORANT player recently found an excellent post-plant line-up on Split using Killjoy’s Nanowarm grenade—and it’s almost impossible to counter.  Killjoy’s Nanoswarm grenade is an excellent way to protect a planted Spike without putting yourself in danger. Players can place the Nanoswarm in a well-hidden position and activate it when they hear the enemy attempting to defuse it.  VALORANT player Miirab found a new Nanoswarm spot on Split just outside of the A site. Killjoy can bounce her Nanoswarm off the wall in the back corner of the site, which

Blizzard targets boosters in latest hotfix, require characters to be level 60 to post in WoW: Shadowlands group finder groups

Blizzard released a new hotfix today, targeting boosters who have been spamming the group finder in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. Going forward, only characters who are max level, currently 60, can post in the group finder groups for Shadowlands sections Mythic+ dungeons and raids. This will combat the players who create level 1 characters and spam the group finder, selling boosts and making it hard for regular players to find groups since they have to scroll through a lot to find a normal non-boost group. Outside of this change, Blizzard

How to use subscriber-only chat on YouTube

YouTube made numerous updates to its livestreaming features this week and among them is the option for content creators to put their chat in subscriber-only mode. While this form of moderation has been available on Twitch for a long time, the change for YouTube comes following consistent growth over the past three years. Sub-only chatting on YouTube can be compared to follower-only chat on Twitch. It’s worth pointing out that “Subscribing” on YouTube and Twitch have different meanings.  On YouTube, a channel’s subscribers don’t pay a monthly fee the way

How to use Better Twitch TV (BTTV) emotes

On Twitch, you may have seen people type things in chat that seem like they should be emotes, but they aren’t appearing that way for you. Instead they just look like random words that have capitalized letters in an awkward fashion. That’s probably because you don’t have the extension called Better Twitch TV (BTTV).  The extension, which is available for all major browsers, is easily downloadable and allows you to interact with other users on Twitch in ways that you can’t with the standard website. The first step to getting

Best Kassadin build in League of Legends

Kassadin is one of the best scaling mid laners in League of Legends’ season 11. He can take over games quite easily if left alone to farm and get his core items. While he does have a weak early game, which can be exploited by enemies, the combination of runes and items below should help you get past that point. As with all League champions, specific items are going to be more effective depending on the circumstance. But there are certain items that are most effective on Kassadin in all types of

Blizzard updates latest hotfix after PvP community backslash regarding Hunters and Mages

A couple of days after the World of Warcaft PvP community backslash regarding the latest buffs to Hunters and Mages, Blizzard backtracked on the changes and decided to hotfix them to PvE only. These classes were already performing exceptionally well in the PvP scenario with multiple compositions to choose from to play in either two vs. two, three vs. three, or rated battlegrounds. While the PvP community understood that these classes needed some help in PvE, they didn’t want it to adversely affect PvP, where these classes are already dominating

Elyoya: ‘I agree with Inspired. Playing jungle in solo queue is quite frustrating because the game is not fair’

Rogue jungler Inspired shared in an interview with Hotspawn last week that he believes practicing League of Legends solo queue on the European server is inefficient since it teaches bad habits. Unlike competitive play where junglers can easily farm and create controlled opportunities to gank, in solo queue, he feels that he needs to constantly gank lanes since he keeps getting pinged by everyone to assist them. As a result, the 19-year-old jungler spends his time watching VODs of the LPL and LCK instead to learn from the best players
