Capcom has officially announced its Summer Update 2021 showcase for Aug. 3, which will give fans a deeper look at Oro, Akira, and more content coming to Street Fighter V Champion Edition later this year.  This will actually be an hour-long broadcast, with Capcom promising multiple updates and new behind-the-scenes looks at what the developers have been working on over the last several months. Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition – Summer Update Stream Set for August 3rd

Season 5 of Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition is currently ongoing but it’s easy to forget given that the last character Rose released in April. Capcom to release Street Fighter: Duel outside of China

Skullgirls becomes last-minute addition to Evo 2021 Online’s main lineup

With just over a week left to register for the main event, Skullgirls 2nd Encore has been added to the official Evo 2021 Online main lineup.  That means players will be able to compete in Skullgirls on the main stage, alongside Guilty Gear Strive, Mortal Kombat 11, Street Fighter V, and Tekken 7.  Because Skullgirls was originally a part of the side tournament lineup, Evo will still be hosting that bracket as a separate event. Free Fire’s collab with Street Fighter V has officially started

Free Fire’s collaboration with Capcom’s Street Fighter V started today and brought a whole special event interface to the game. The collab was revealed back in June and fans were very excited to be able to bring Chun-Li and Ryu to battle. Earlier today, Garena revealed the details about the event and a trailer video.  The event is named “Free Fighter” and is going to transform Garena’s battle royale until the event is over.
