A World on Fire – The TouchArcade Show #448

Apologies in advance if audio levels are a bit weird in this podcast, I tried to correct them as much as I could. For whatever reason my mic this week decided to be super quiet. One more thing! Anyway, we kick things off talking about how crazy the world has gotten in the last week and how it has impacted us before shifting gears into iOS gaming news chat. Slay the Spire! It’s coming! TouchArcade Game of the Week: ‘2112TD: Tower Defense Survival’

The idea behind the TouchArcade Game of the Week is that every Friday afternoon we post the one game that came out this week that we think is worth giving a special nod to. 343 Industries is increasing its efforts to ban players for racist or hateful actions and words in Halo games, Halo community director Brian Jarrard said in a tweet. This comes in the wake of the killing of George Floyd and the protests that followed. Madden NFL 21’s Confusing Xbox Series X Upgrade Offer Expanded

EA has extended its cross-generation upgrade offer for Madden NFL 21, following feedback from fans about the policy. While the company originally put narrow time restrictions on the offer--creating some confusion with Microsoft's Smart Delivery in the process--it has now expanded the time period significantly. Madden NFL 21 will let you upgrade for free from Xbox One to the Xbox Series X version, but the original press release said you would need to buy the game by the end of this year, and then upgrade to the Series X by
