Seattle Day 3 – The Marina

Before you head out, turn around and walk back toward the stairs on your right. Go up and turn left to reach the round rail, where the Kansas Coin rests on the ground.

Get down to ground level and push forward to a train station. You’ll see stairs to the left a ramp; go past the ramp on the right side to get behind it and find the Louisiana Coin on the ground.

Keep going through the collapsed portion of the street until you slide through a tunnel to reach the marina proper. When you hop the railing, to get out of the water into the marina area, you’ll see a ladder up ahead. Go past it and jump into the small food vendor area instead. On the counter you’ll find the Marina Note artifact.

The Island

After landing, climb the ladder up to an overpass. Turn left and climb into the back of a nearby truck to find the Idaho Coin. Just past it, check a body on the ground to find the WLF Scout Journal artifact.

Keep moving onto a road. You’ll see a waterfall ahead, where you’ll drop down. Look for the open door of a car before you drop to grab the North Carolina Coin.

You’ll soon come to a thatch-roof building, the outer portion of the logging camp. Check in the first building on the table for the Venison Distribution Note artifact.

The next area is the logging camp, with your goal being the mill on the far side, which is marked by torches. Before leaving the area, head to the building across from the mill. There’s a ladder on the far side of the building that will get you up to the second floor. Go across to the opening on the opposite side and look on the crate with bags on it on the right side to find the Montana Coin on top of it.

After getting through the logging camp, continue to a lookout tower. Past it, go inside the building on the left to grab the Young Seraphite’s Journal artifact off the bed. At the back of the building is a Workbench. The building on the right side of the area is a shrine with the Mournful Prayer Note artifact inside.

The Escape – Old Town

Work your way through Old Town until you pass through a convenience store. When you reach the street outside, you’ll need to crawl under a semi-truck with the Harste Brewery name scrawled across it. Before you go under, turn left and look for a shopping cart. Behind it on the ground is the Arkansas Coin.

Make your way through town until you reach the radio station–you’ll enter from the roof. Inside is a Workbench.

The Confrontation

You’re mostly weaponless here, so the goal is to use stealth to get the drop on the boss, so you can get in close and dish out some melee damage. You’ll need to be careful about staying hidden: watch out for objects like chains or glass that can make sound and give you away.

The fight is pretty straightforward: use Listen mode and try to flank the boss, get in close, and unleash some melee attacks. You have to approach without being detected, though, because you’ll die if you attack from the front. If you get spotted, run for it until you can break line of sight and slip back into stealth, as you’ll want to avoid getting shot as much as possible. Note that you’ll find bricks and bottles throughout the area that you can use as distractions or for quick stun hits–these are actually a pretty good strategy, especially later in the fight.

After you get in close and land some damage, the boss will switch to a shotgun. As soon as you fall through the floor, move toward the crate near you or you’ll get killed. Stay hidden and get away as quick as you can; look for health items in the area if you need them. Repeat the process of getting in close and using melee strikes, but be sure you don’t get spotted. The boss will dodge any attacks from the front and knock you out with the shotgun, so again, if you’re spotted, disengage and save yourself rather than trying to fight.

In the final phase, the boss will hit you with arrows, which can get lodged and do extended damage over time if you’re hit. They’ll also periodically put down mines that you’ll be able to hear sparking in Listen mode; you’ll have to avoid them altogether. Repeat the stealth process of getting close and attacking while unseen one more time to finish the fight.
