Ultimate and Super Smash Bros. Details on prizing for the circuit were not disclosed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span>Bill Trinen, Senior Director of Product Marketing at Nintendo of America<\/span><\/strong><span>, spoke on the collaboration in a release:<\/span> <span>\u201cThis partnership with Panda Global is the next step in Nintendo\u2019s efforts to create a more consistent, fun, and welcoming competitive environment for our players and fans.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cWe are proud to stand with an organization like Panda Global to celebrate and support the ever-growing competitive Super Smash Bros<em>.<\/em> community, and create a space where all players can test and hone their competitive skills.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/esportsinsider.com\/esi-digital-winter-2021\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/platogaming.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/panda-global-unveils-super-smash-bros-partnership-with-nintendo.png\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><span>RELATED: <a rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/esportsinsider.com\/2021\/05\/nintendo-playvs-splatoon-smash-bros\/\">Nintendo and PlayVS announce high school esports partnership<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span>Winners of the qualification rounds for both titles will advance to compete in the grand finals where the eventual champions will be decided. Alongside players from the United States, participants from Canada and Mexico will be eligible once Panda Global and Nintendo permit international travel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Nintendo\u2019s involvement may come as a surprise to some after the company issued a cease and desist to tournament organiser The Big House after its Ultimate and Melee tournaments moved online due to the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span>Dr. Alan Bunney, CEO of Panda<\/span><\/strong><span>&nbsp;<strong>Global<\/strong>, also commented:<\/span> <span>\u201cOne of our key missions at Panda Global is to serve our communities in new and exciting ways.
