In a tell-all post over on the <a rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.playstation.com\/2022\/03\/18\/ghost-of-tsushima-legends-finding-the-fun-in-multiplayer\/\">Official PlayStation Blog<\/a>, Senior Game Designer Darren Bridges talks fans through the studio&#8217;s creation of Legends.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/gfycat.com\/ifr\/CalmDisloyalAmphibian\" width=\"640\" height=\"404\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a long read, charting the mode&#8217;s journey from design phase through to its execution. A large part of Sucker Punch&#8217;s success is how the team&#8217;s philosophy on co-operative embeds itself in the mechanics and systems from Ghost of Tsushima Legends. Instead of having 4 versions of Jin Sakai swarm each match, Sucker Punch imbued Legends with a supernatural theme, allowing it to stand out from the story campaign, both in terms of visual style and the gameplay abilities available.<\/p>\n<p>Ghost of Tsushima: Legends got its\u00a0<a rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thesixthaxis.com\/2021\/10\/05\/ghost-of-tsushima-legends-free-dlc-map\/\">latest major free content update<\/a>\u00a0back in October, which was a new survival mode map. This new arena, Blood and Steel, sees groups of up to four warriors face off waves of Oni attackers on Iki Island.
