There&#8217;s no firm date on this, but the game launched as a temporary exclusive for PlayStation VR on 31st March \u2013 the original was a PSVR exclusive for 5 months.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Moss: Book II coming to Quest 2 - Summer 2022\" width=\"780\" height=\"439\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/e-B3tI6aTgU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>For fans of the first game, Moss: Book II picks up right where it left off. Our mousey hero Quill is now firmly in the crosshairs of the Arcane forces that she&#8217;s been battling with your help, and needs to learn a bunch of new tricks to overcome them.\u00a0As before, you will be The Reader, a powerful being overlooking the action and able to interact with the world, as well as guiding Quill on her adventure.<\/p>\n<p>The big difference between PSVR and Quest 2 will be that you aren&#8217;t constrained by having to use a DualShock 4 controller. With the Quest controllers both having analogue sticks, you can have independent hands, allowing for more freedom in interacting with the game. We&#8217;ll be hoping for <a rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thesixthaxis.com\/2022\/02\/22\/this-is-what-psvr-2-looks-like-ps5-vr-headset\/\">a PSVR 2 upgrade<\/a> whenever that new generation headset releases.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne of the first things we heard when we launched Moss: Book II on PlayStation VR a few weeks ago was that the Quest 2 community wanted to play it, and we\u2019re going to deliver on that in the very near future,\u201d said Tam Armstrong, co-founder and CEO at Polyarc. \u201cOur goal from day one has been getting the Moss franchise onto as many headsets as possible. PSNProfiles only has access to a subset of gamers that sign up for it, but has <a rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/psnprofiles.com\/search\/games?q=moss\">just over 100 players owning Moss: Book 2<\/a>, compared to the 21,000 players owning the original. The original was <a rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thesixthaxis.com\/2021\/03\/25\/play-at-home-10-free-games-playstation-4-psvr-store-download-links-how-do-i-where-can-i\/\">given away as part of Sony&#8217;s Play at Home promotion last year<\/a>, so that might have skewed numbers. While not the firmest of statistics, it&#8217;s still an indication that the appeal of the original PSVR has waned over the last couple of years. Perhaps it&#8217;s just too much of a fuss to keep around for those upgrading to PS5?<\/p>\n<p>Moss has quickly become a must-play game series for VR, and the sequel builds on everything that the original did so well.
