Soul Hackers 2<\/em> is a little more than two weeks from launch with Atlus ramping up its promotion significantly. Yesterday, it offered new details on day one DLC<\/a>, like costumes from Persona 4<\/em> and 5<\/em>, Shin Megami Tensei 5<\/em>, and so on. A new trailer is available and provides a broader view of the game\u2019s story, setting and characters.<\/p>\n

Though set in Karakucho, a den of \u201cneon lights, convenience and corruption,\u201d the world itself is in danger of ending. To counteract this, a force called Aion creates two AI agents \u2013 Ringo and Figue \u2013 to stop it. They subsequently recruit allies<\/a> like Arrow, a former Yatagarasu member; Milady, a Phantom Society member; and Saizo, a freelance summoner to help.<\/p>\n

This ragtag group will have its share of disagreements and emotional issues (especially given their revivals from death). Ringo can use the Soul Matrix<\/a> to delve deeper into their minds, unlocking more memories and increasing Soul Levels, which can provide new abilities. Soul Levels can also increase by hanging out with a party member.<\/p>\n

Soul Hackers 2<\/em> is out on August 26th for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox Series X\/S, PS5, and PC. For more details on the game, head here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
