Ahead of the Post TI shuffle, Na’Vi makes a change in their lineup, parting ways with Alexey “Solo” Berezin.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Na’Vi<\/a>\u00a0came in third place in the EEU regional qualifiers for The International 2022. That granted them a ticket to Singapore, to compete as one of 12 teams vying for the last two spots at The International 2022.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Determined to seize their place, Na’Vi started out strong. They ended at the top of their group with a 7:3 game (2:3:0 series) record. Things were looking good for the Ukrainian organization but they quickly dropped to the lower bracket after taking a 2:1 loss to T1 in the upper brackets. They made quick business of Tempest with a 2:0 sweep but were eliminated in the next round by Xtreme Gaming.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Not the results the organization or players were aiming for.\u00a0<\/p>\n

So ahead of the upcoming season, Na’Vi is making a change.\u00a0<\/p>\n

After just over a year, the team is parting ways with\u00a0Alexey “Solo<\/a>” Berezin.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Alexey\u00a0\u00abSolo\u00bb<\/strong>\u00a0Berezin, who has played for the club since September 2, 2021, today is parting ways with\u00a0NAVI<\/strong>. With him on the roster, the team placed 5\/6th in the second season of\u00a0DPC EEU<\/strong>\u00a0and then significantly improved their results in the third, securing a trip to\u00a0PGL Arlington Major 2022<\/strong>\u00a0with the second place.\u00a0They were among the top three teams in the Regional Qualifiers for\u00a0The International 2022<\/strong>\u00a0but lost to\u00a0T1\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Xtreme Gaming<\/strong>\u00a0in Singapore’s Last Chance Qualifier playoffs.<\/p>\n

We thank\u00a0Solo<\/strong>\u00a0for his professionalism and contributions to growing the club’s Dota 2 branch and wish him luck next season.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Solo was one of two Russian players on the Ukranian-based roster. With the war happening and tensions constantly rising, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Solo and Na’Vi have parted ways.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The organization is expected to finalize their roster in the coming weeks before the start of the new DPC season in December.\u00a0<\/p>\n
