With Kanga and Ground Zero’s eliminations written in stone earlier this week by Pentanet and the Dire Wolves respectively, our teams for the Split 2 playoffs have been locked in.

Having made their LCO debut in Split 2, Vertex are locked into sixth place and with it, the last spot in the playoffs. The roster of rookies have faced adversity and although things looked a bit grim at first, they were able to follow in the footsteps of fellow newcomers in Bliss, securing some convincing wins that were absolutely integral to their playoffs qualification.

Pentanet have seen a fairly shaky split, with a majority of their Bo2s ending in ties before making their final sprint with back-to-back series wins. Fresh off last split’s early departure, they’ve gradually picked up the place, charging towards a different outcome.

The Dire Wolves finished the last regular split as first seed, now sitting in fourth place after another fairly convincing performance throughout the split, topped by their league-long rivals in The Chief, Team Bliss and Mammoth. The Wolfpack aim to claw their way back to the top and reclaim their dominance from times gone by.
