Scratch your head with the feline feels of Roll the Cat

Jumping on the back of Stray and purring away alongside the head scratching of Bright Paw is yet another feline fuelled game – Roll the Cat.

From the ever-prolific Ratalaika Games publishing arm, Roll the Cat was originally put together by the LeJunesArt team. Seems about right that it’s coming into our lives at such a rich time for lovers of the cat game.

This one is far removed from that PlayStation hit Stray, much more focused on the puzzling aspect of gameplay like the recently released Bright Paw: Definitive Edition. As you’d suspect, it has you playing as a cat – kinda – with fifty levels of puzzling greatness urging you to usher them back into their beds. See, cats are funny little fellas, more than happy to create havoc in the dead of the night – the time when folk around them should be sleeping.

Utilising spatial logic, you’ll need to get to grips with the puzzling aspect of Roll the Cat in order to transport them back to their bed. If only so you can get a good night’s sleep. With five cute cats in place, a ramping of the difficulty levels as you go and some highly intuitive gameplay, this is one that may require you to scratch your head a little.

The key features include:

  • * 50 levels of puzzles
  • * Intuitive gameplay
  • * Up to 5 cute cats
  • * Increasing difficulty

Fully optimised for Xbox Series X|S, playable on that console and Xbox One, you’ll discover the download you need over at the Xbox Store. You should also be finding Roll the Cat present on the stores of Nintendo Switch and PlayStation too. Expect to pay something in the region of £4.99.

Keep an eye out for our review once we’ve given this feline puzzler a once over.
