Nintendo Switch’s Blowout Summer Sale Is Live Now With Deals On Its Best Games

Following the launch of sales like PS4’s Days of Play and Xbox One’s Deals Unlocked, Nintendo just went live with a major sale of its own. The Nintendo Switch Summer Games Sale is in full swing on the Eshop and at major retailers with up to 50% off some of the platform’s best games, from first-party titles to acclaimed indies. The sale is live now until June 17, so you’ve got about a week to peruse all the deals and snag anything you like. And there are a lot of deals to look through. Fortunately, we’ve rounded up some of the best games on sale below.

Participating retailers

While the Eshop is having a full sale of its own, several major retailers are getting in on the action, offering steep discounts on digital Switch games to match what the Eshop is offering.

Nintendo Switch game deals

First-party titles aren’t prominently featured in the sale, but you can still save on some Mario games, including Super Mario Party, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, and Mario Tennis Aces for $42 each. The excellent Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is also down to $42.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt‘s Complete Edition on Nintendo Switch is down to its cheapest price yet, also selling for $42 instead of its usual $60. Meanwhile, Dragon Quest Builders 2 and Dragon Quest XI S Definitive Edition are also on sale for–you guessed it–$42 each. Fighting game fans can grab Mortal Kombat 11 on sale for $25 and Dragon Ball FighterZ for $15. Other notable deals include AI: The Somnium Files for just $30, Overcooked 2 for $15, and Fitness Boxing (a nice Ring Fit Adventure alternative) for $35.

There are too many great games on sale right now to name, but we’ve listed some of the best ones currently discounted at major retailers and the Eshop below. We’ve noticed a few deals available at retailers that aren’t on sale on the Eshop, like Kentucky Route Zero and Celeste. Meanwhile, PlayStation and Xbox also have major summer sales going on right now. PS4’s Days of Play runs until June 17, while Xbox One’s Deals Unlocked ends on June 15.
