A new Pokémon Presents to air far and wide this weekend

A new Pokémon Presents to air far and wide this weekend

It’s that time of the year again already, as the Pokemon Company prepares to lay out its future plans in a Pokémon Presents stream. As ever, the rumour mill is spinning out all sorts of information, but all we know so far, is when and where the presentation will take place, and roughly how long it will last. Still, that doesn’t mean we don’t have a wish list.

This event is the first 2022 Pokemon Presents since the launch of Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and following the positive reception of the game, a lot of fans are hoping the developer will tease some future DLC. That might be a little optimistic, though, and we’re probably more like to see something about the Pokémon Trading Card Game Live following its Canadian beta test, or some news about unlocking the Shaymin and Darkrai events in Pokémon BDSP.

While the Pokémon Company has rolled out updates and special in-game events all week as part of Pokémon Day 2022, we’re hoping it’s saved the best until last with this weekend’s presentation. And if we are getting some sort of sequel, we’ll take a follow up to Detective Pikachu over Pokémon Smile 2, please and thank you.
