Activision Promises Big Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Beta Code Drop Next Week

Activision has promised a massive giveaway of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta codes next week – the biggest ever in Call of Duty League’s history, apparently. While watching Call of Duty League Championships comes with perks every day, it’s next Sunday that you’ll really wanna tune in if you want a chance to get into the upcoming beta, which will reportedly kick off in September.

How to get Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta codes

You’ll first need to sign up for an Activision account, if you don’t have one already, and then link it with your YouTube account. Watch the Call of Duty League Championship matches while signed into your linked YouTube account to earn rewards daily. Rewards include Double XP tokens redeemable in Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone Pacific. Then, there are the daily rewards which include items like Calling Cards, weapon charms, weapon blueprints, and more. Finally, on Sunday, August 7th, tune in to watch the Championship starting at 11:30 am PT for a chance to win a Modern Warfare 2 beta code. Winners will be notified via the Call of Duty League website or the COD Companion app.

Activision says it has 50,000 beta codes to give away during the day, starting with 10,000 codes during the first match and then 5,000 codes each in subsequent matches.

In other news, Ubisoft has denied reports that it’s cancelling Roller Champions so the game might not meet the same fate as Hyper Scape, and all the recent Sony first-party leaks apparently stem from a security breach that Sony has yet to plug.
