AfreecaTV has revealed the exact distribution of the Patreon funds gathered throughout 2023 to bolster the prize pool of GSL Code S.
AfreecaTV clarified that each season’s crowdfunded prize bonus was capped at $30,000, with any excess funds rolling over to the next season. AfreecaTV did not confirm the continuation of GSL in 2024, but said the rollover funds from Code S Season 3 (the final season of 2023) would be “used entirely for prize money, and the usage method will be revealed at a later date.”
