ALGS Championship Schedule and Streams

One of the biggest events in Apex Legends esports is fast approaching. The ALGS Championship in Raleigh, North Carolina kicks off on July 7 with the best teams in the world battling. Apex Legends is finally back on LAN and in North America! Here are the details of the ALGS Championship Schedule and the streams to watch it on.

Streams

All the games will be broadcast on the official PlayApex Twitch channel and the Apex Legends Global Series Youtube channel. During the group stage where two lobbies are playing at once, the second group will be streamed by 100 Thieves content creator Jack “NiceWigg” Martin on his Twitch channel.

The official Twitch channel features the unique command center stream. In the command center, viewers can switch between all 20 teams’ POVs with in-game communications. The broadcast also includes a view of the whole map and real-time player movement as well as a live statistics page.

Schedule

The event takes place across four days starting with the group stage. After teams play a set of 6 games against the three other groups, the top half in the overall standings move on to the winners bracket. The bottom 20 teams fight each other to decide who moves on and who goes home.

On the final day, the remaining teams play a match point format to crown a champion. In match point format, a team needs to reach 50 points and then win a match outright to claim the ultimate victory. The format sometimes leads to longer finals with many teams reaching match point, but not closing out the win.

July 8 -Group/Bracket Stage- 1 PM ET/10 AM PT
July 9 -Bracket Stage- 1 PM ET/10 AM PT
July 10 -Match Point Finals- 5 PM ET/ 2 PM PT

Teams

Based upon their performance across 2022, the top teams from around the globe earn a spot in the championship. Reigning champion Reignite takes the first seed. North America is the strongest region with 6 of the top 10 spots. Traditional powerhouses like TSM and NRG are seeking to regain dominance. Here is a list of the teams and their seeding.
