UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 is now upon us with the tournament set to be one of the most entertaining and best supported in the history of the Women’s game.
England are the host nation for this summer’s tournament, and with the Women’s Super League considered the most competitive Women’s domestic league in the world, there is certainly an expectation on the shoulders of the Lionesses.
Sarina Wiegman‘s side will kick off the tournament on Wednesday evening when they host Austria at Old Trafford with the home nation heavily favoured heading into that matchup.
