Anticipated PS5, PS4 Anime Brawler Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash Unveils More Characters

A trio of new characters have been added to the roster of upcoming anime brawler Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash, and you can catch the first gameplay footage of all three above. The trailer introduces the look and moves of three key new arrivals: Aoi Todo, Hanami, and Jogo. You’ll also glimpse a handful of special moves in the video.

While the combat styles do look appropriately varied, the gameplay is a little bland, due to the sheer lack of activity on the stages. This title subscribes to the 2vs2 arena combat blueprint that’s been common in anime adaptations for decades, and it doesn’t appear to be bringing anything new or original to the table.

Nevertheless, these newcomers join the previously announced cast of Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, Satoru Gojo, Ryomen Sukuna, Maki Zenin, Toge Inumaki, and Panda. The game’s due out on 2nd February, which isn’t too far away, so we suspect these character trailers are going to come thick and fast through to the release’s launch.
