AQ Kills in Warzone 2 Explained

With the introduction of AI combatants in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 shaking things up drastically, it is perhaps no surprise that many are wondering just what AQ Solder Kills are.

In both Battle Royale and DMZ in Warzone 2, AI-controlled enemies inhabit the “massive living world” in Al Mazrah, meaning players will have to get used to their presence. As such, here’s a breakdown of what AQ Soldier Kills are in Warzone 2.

In the scoreboard of Warzone 2, players will notice that there are two main sections: Operator Kills and AQ Soldiers Kills. As you’d might expect, Operator Kills are indeed kills you’ve earned during a match against other real players. Operator Kills will be used to determine KD ratios once those stats are released.

On the other hand, AQ Solider Kills in Warzone 2 are any kills that come against AI-controlled enemies in matches of DMZ and at Strongholds and Black Sites in Battle Royale. AQ stands for “Al-Qatala,” the terrorist organization in the campaigns of both Modern Warfare (2019) and Modern Warfare II.

Of course, the easiest way to tell if the enemy you just killed is a player or an AI is by simply checking the killfeed.
