Following a long wait, Chinese esports organization Azure Ray has finally revealed their Dota 2 roster for 2024. The roster was first disclosed through the Chinese social media app, Weibo, and immediately managed to garner the attention of the global Dota 2 community.
Through the announcement on 1st January, the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 winners revealed that they would be adding three new players to their 2024 Dota 2 roster, with two out of the three players coming out of retirement to join the team.
The two retired players who will be returning to play the upcoming DPC season for Azure Ray are Zeng “Ori” Jiaoyang and Zhang “Faith_bian” Ruida. With both of them retiring in late 2022, the Dota 2 community is certainly thrilled to see the two returning to competitive Dota just over a year later.
With this announcement, the full Dota 2 roster of Azure Ray for the next DPC season is as follows:
- Lou “Lou” Zhen
- Zeng “Ori” Jiaoyang
- Zhang “Faith_bian” Ruida
- Xu “fy” Linsen
- Jiang “天命” An
Notably, this new Azure Ray roster had previously been leaked by Dota 2 caster Benjamin “Bkop” Kopilow and Faith_bian himself. However, no official confirmations were made until today.
