The last couple of years have been rough for graphics card shoppers—there were exactly zero Prime Day GPU deals in 2021—but a crashing cryptocurrency market and recovering chip supply are driving prices down to more sane levels. For this second day of Prime Day 2022, you’re finally able to find some true graphics card deals, though it won’t be as easy as other gadgets or PC parts.
Yes, there are still some GPU deals available, but to score Amazon’s Prime Day deals, you’ll need to be a Prime member, which is easy to score for free. Please note, not all good deals are happening on Amazon, so we hunted for GPU deals at all relevant retailers, as reflected in the list below. Finally, if you want to do some research before buy, make sure to read our picks for the best graphics cards for PC gaming.
Other retailers, like Newegg and Best Buy, don’t need a membership to score most deals. At the moment it looks like the best discounts — more than $100 — are to be had on super high-end cards, like the GeForce RTX 3090 or Radeon RX 6900 XT. Deals on mid-range and low-end cards are more frugal and harder to find, though AMD’s Radeon GPUs have deeper sales on their more affordable graphics card models.
Actual deals are a little harder to find than they appear, since many retailers are still listing cards well over their MSRP and calling them “discounts” versus their inflated pandemic pricing. We’ve split the deals up into separate Nvidia and AMD sections below — note that AMD has WAY more deals than Nvidia at the moment.
