Some sad news in this afternoon as we have received confirmation that the site Bet-At-Home which is also accredited here on Casinomeister, has taken the decision to close their doors to the UK market.
An email sent out to their UK based customers this afternoon confirmed the decision that the Malta based operator had taken, stating the following: “Goodbye! Unfortunately, we’ve decided to surrender our operating licence granted by the UK Gambling Commission and to exit the British market.”
“Therefore it hasn’t been possible anymore to bet, play or deposit with us as of 06/07/2022 (16:20 UK time). Furthermore, new registrations are not allowed. But don’t worry, your funds are safe. To check if you have any balance on your account login to the site.”
Bet-At-Home are one of the oldest online gambling operations around, having been established back in 1999 and have offices in Malta, Austria, Gibraltar, and Germany.
All UK players registered with Bet-At-Home have until 30th September ( 10am ) to request withdrawals of any remaining funds and these can be requested directly in the betting account. Afterwards, withdrawals can be requested via e-mail to [email protected] until 30th June 2023. After this date, all funds will be transferred to GambleAware.
