With seeding for the $500,000 Major determined by the Online Qualifier, there are also a tonne of CDL Points up for grabs, which will be essential to qualify for the most prestigious event of the year – the Call of Duty Championship 2023! Specifically, Major 3 will be hosted by OpTic Texas at the Esports Arlington Stadium.

If you’re new to Call of Duty League betting, you’re in luck. This tournament is remarkably easy to understand, and if you’re taking part in some Major 3 betting, you won’t have to work hard to figure out which teams are most likely to win.

Moving on to the format, Stage 3 is split into two stages – Online Qualifiers and Major.

Online Qualifiers

Starting with the Online Qualifier, these will take place online between 17th February and 5th March. Involving all of the 12 teams, each team will play a total of 5 BO5 matches through predetermined match-ups.

Seeding into the Major event will be determined through performances at the Online Qualifier:

  • Top 8 – seeded into the Upper Bracket (Major)
  • Bottom 4 – seeded into the Lower Bracket (Major)

Major

Following the Qualifiers, the highly anticipated Stage 3 Major will take place. Doing so between the 9th and 12th March, $500,000 will be on the line as teams compete at the Esports Stadium in Arlington.

Specifically, all 12 franchised CDL teams will have to fight through a double elimination bracket, where all matches are BO5 and the epic Grand Finals are BO7. If you’re hunting for the best Call of Duty betting experiences, this is your bet.

For those unaware, double elimination bracket means that those in the Upper Bracket can afford one loss and be sent to the Lower Bracket – but an additional loss in the Lower Bracket means elimination.

Predictions

While the Call of Duty odds and the current CDL Points Standings paint a certain picture, it’s important to consider the placements from the most recent Stage II Major. Here’s how the top teams stacked up last week:

  1. Atlanta FaZe
  2. Los Angeles Thieves
  3. Minnesota Rokkr
  4. OpTic Texas
  5. Boston Breach
  6. Toronto Ultra

Also worth noting are the multiple roster changes ongoing, which may impact teams’ performances, such as OpTic Texas, Florida Mutineers and Vegas Legion.
