Lack of New Champions and Time Constraints

Another reason for the absence of the Divine Beasts might be the absence of Zelda herself. In “Tears of the Kingdom,” Zelda is not present to choose new Champions, and there is no opportunity for new heroes to undergo the rigorous Champion Trials.

Without skilled pilots, the Divine Beasts remain dormant and ineffective. Link, the protagonist, likely prioritizes the search for the Sages over the revival of the Divine Beasts.

The Elusive Divine Beasts

At present, players won’t encounter the Divine Beasts in “Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom” unless there is a significant secret that has yet to be uncovered. Speculations have arisen that the Divine Beasts might be hidden underground as Easter eggs, but despite extensive exploration, we haven’t encountered any of them. It seems their absence in the game is intentional and serves to create new challenges and gameplay experiences for players.
