Instead, as you try to enter a romantic relationship with someone, the person you’re already in one with will notice and react accordingly.

There are some romantic partners who let you romance multiple characters in BG3. This is because those characters have personalities that are open to non-monogamous styles of love. However, others simply don’t like it. If you try, they’ll make their feelings known and will react accordingly. Some characters will leave you to get to know someone for a while before reacting. However, for others, it is a hard line in the sand and they’ll react negatively even if you so much as flirt with someone else. Let alone go all the way and romance multiple characters in Baldur’s Gate 3.

If you’re looking to concentrate on one particular romantic partner in Baldur’s Gate 3, you’ll need to keep this in mind. Unless they’re one of the few more open characters they won’t be on board with another character being romanced.
