Capcom Highlights 2 Day Event Announced With Updates on Monster Hunter Now, Monster Hunter Stories, Dragon’s Dogma 2, and More – TouchArcade

TouchArcade Rating:

Capcom just announced a Capcom Highlights two day event split up across this week and next week covering upcoming and current Capcom titles. While most of these are on the PC and console side, Niantic and Capcom’s Monster Hunter Now (Free) will be featured on one day. Out of the other games, I’m very interested in Street Fighter 6 for obvious reasons, Dragon’s Dogma 2, and also the upcoming new port of Monster Hunter Stories. Day 1 of the Capcom Highlights event is on March 7th, this Thursday with a focus on Kunitsu-Gami and Dragon’s Dogma 2. Both of these are current generation only games. Day 2 is on March 11th, and it features Monster Hunter Now, Monster Hunter Stories, Street Fighter 6, and Exoprimal.

Check out the official website for the event here. The digital showcases will be between 15 and 20 minutes each. Capcom also confirmed that there will be no new information for Monster Hunter Wilds, Capcom’s upcoming console and PC mainline entry in the Monster Hunter series. As for what to expect for Monster Hunter Now, Niantic is doing a series 20th anniversary celebration this month. I imagine this showcase will reveal the new monsters, weapons, and more coming in Monster Hunter Now’s next major update.

I hope Monster Hunter Now gets more monsters like Rajang or Nergigante soon. I haven’t been playing it as much as I was before January, but I’m hoping the next update gets me back. If you’ve not played Monster Hunter Now recently or are planning to just start playing, I put together some (newly updated) tips and tricks for the game, details on the weapons, special skills, the current monsters list, my wishlist for future update monsters, and more. You can grab Monster Hunter Now on the App Store for iOS here and on Google Play for Android here. Check out the official website here. What do you think of Monster Hunter Now if you’ve been playing it and what do you want to see added in the next major update?
