CS2 has finally landed on our hard drives after years of speculations and months of beta testing. While fans love CS2, it will be safe to assume that the hype has ascended beyond the realms of gaming and everyone is trying their hands at the new game.

In one of his recent Instagram posts, we can see Guanyu playing CS2 with no other Heroic IGL, Casper “cadiaN” Moller. The pair likely played a few matches together and it would be safe to assume that the Chinese racer is a huge fan of the game. Judging by his skin collection, it would be fair to assume he invests a significant amount of time and resources into the game and the launch of the latest version has made him just as excited as any of us.

Traditional sports athletes have shown their interest in video games in the past and for someone like Zhou Guanyu to do it is anything but surprising. He hails from China, a region that has been dominating the CSGO esports scene in and around Asia and boasts a massive fanbase that has witnessed some of the biggest events in the history of the game on their soil.

The Alpha Romeo driver has been enjoying the best year of his career with a career record finish in most recent races and looks to relax post-practice sessions by playing CS2 with the best players in the world.

Formula One being a traditional sport will help spread the word of CS2’s arrival and will potentially attract more players to the game. China being an already dominant region for the game will likely get a boost looking at their top F1 Racer playing it at such a level which will motivate the youngsters to try their hands at CS2 with more vigour.
