Dead By Daylight’s New Halloween 2023 RoadMap Is Here!

With Halloween upcoming, Day by Daylight’s team has released its new Halloween 2023 roadmap and here is everything we can expect to find in the game

Dead by Daylight is one of the most evergreen and beloved multiplayer survival horror games out there. It was launched back in 2016 and developed and published by Behaviour Interactive Inc. It is an online co-op multiplayer survival horror asymmetrical genre game. The game is played by 5 players in total where 4 people are Survivors trying to escape and 1 person is the Killer chasing them. Being such a beloved game, Dead by Daylight has released many DLCs over the years with the most recent one being the Alien Chapter Pack in collaboration with the movie, “Alien.” As of today, the Dead by Daylight team has revealed their Halloween 2023 roadmap and here is everything we know about it.

As of today, on October 3, 2023, the developers of Dead by Daylight have officially released the new Halloween 2023 roadmap. They revealed it through a blog post posted on their official website. An event is held in the game every year when the spooky holiday comes around because it is a horror game after all. This year, they revealed a complete roadmap that details everything that players can expect to see in-game. Here is the roadmap as seen in the blog post:

As we can see in the picture, the roadmap is spread out over five days. The roadmap’s contents will start taking place from October 3 and end on October 24. The contents include everything from new merch to the highly anticipated Halloween in-game event. Here is a list highlighting everything that will take place from October 3 to 24:

New Merch (October 3)

New merch will be dropping on Dead by Daylight’s official online store which is already live in the story as of writing this. The new merch will include a limited edition poster, a Gaming mat, new t-shirts, 3 new Halloween-themed charm keychains including a Moon Cat, Bat Cat and Scarecrow Jake and new baseball shirts.

Tome 17: COMMITMENT (October 11)

The Tome 17: COMMITMENT will be the in-game equivalent of a new merch drop. This release will include new Outfits for Killers including The Dredge and The Oni alongside the Survivors including Feng Min and Adam Francis. There will also be newly added charms, which will be available to unlock per usual. There will also be new memories added for the Oni, a Killer and Feng Min, a survivor.

Announcement Livestream (October 13)

On October 13, a live stream will be held on one of Dead by Daylight’s official social media platforms which has not been specified. The live stream will be, as quoted on the blog post, “jam-packed” with highlights from the upcoming “scariest event yet” and details about everything that we can expect to see in-game. They also have an “epic surprise” planned which will be revealed on the live stream.

Haunted by Daylight Event (October 18)

Finally, the highly anticipated spooky holiday event in-game which is known as “Haunted by Daylight” will start on October 18. The event will return with the terrifying Void Realm and a new event Tome. For the whole duration of the event, which is till November 6th, daily rewards will be given out. Previous Halloween outfits for Killers and Survivors will be returning along with other cosmetic upgrades including Tricks and Treats and Halloween: Void Touched.

The Halloween Blight Collection (October 24)

Last but not least, on October 24th, the beloved Halloween Blight collection will be returning with a bang. The collection will include new outfits for Killers including The Onryō and The Xenomorph along with the Survivor, Yoichi Asakawa specially curated by the sinister Blight himself with lots of terror.

With that, the Halloween 2023 roadmap is complete. Needless to say, the 5 days leading up to the spooky holiday will surely be loaded for all Dead by Daylight (DBD) players! All 5 of the days include something to look forward to whether you’re a new player or a veteran just looking to expand your collection. As usual, this is not shocking at all considering that the spooky holiday is all about the horror that DBD serves! The Haunted by Daylight event coming back is just perfect because it is extremely fun and the in-game rewards are fantastic per usual.
