DeMarcus Walker Signs 2-Year Deal with Bears

Chicago had the most cap space to spend in the entire league at the beginning of free agency, and they are continuing to spend it quickly. Former Tennessee Titans defensive end DeMarcus Walker has signed a two-year, $7 million deal.

The NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reported the news via Twitter late on Monday night.

DeMarcus Walker was a second round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. Since draft day he has bounced around to four teams in (what will be) seven years. Walker spent the 2022-2023 season with the Tennessee Titans on a one-year deal.

Last year was a breakout for Walker. He played in all 17 games (starting six of them), racking up seven sacks and 32 combined tackles. Prior to last season, his career high sack total was 4.5, back in 2020. Grabbing Walker was the Bears’ fourth move on Monday alone.
