Atooi has announced that it’s given Dementium: The Ward a new update that adds a new Hi-Res display mode option.
The horror title, a horror first-person shooter, returned on Switch last October. It originally released with only a retro display mode featuring a cozy, crunchy retro style that essentially emulated the 3DS display at 240p. However, now players can experience the game at full 1080p on a TV or 720p in handheld mode with the action still running at 60 frames per second.
The Hi-Res display mode option is easy to access. Simply pause the game during gameplay to view the options menu and then cycle through the various display options available. Retro, Retro CRT, Hi-Res, and Hi-Res CRT are all included.
