Dying Light 2 has finally released and is already getting plenty of attention in the gaming community. With the wide variety of explorable locations in the city, and over 200 weapons, the world is at your fingertips during the apocalypse.

There are weapon options and modifications available in Dying Light 2, however, just how durable are these weapons when you are getting attacked by monsters in The City. Do all of the weapons break in Dying Light 2?

In Dying Light 2, your weapons take damage with each use, and they can end up breaking entirely fairly quickly. It’s crucial to maintain not just your health, but also your weapons throughout the game in order to prevent them from breaking, and this includes all of them.

If you do want to hold on to your favorite weapon in Dying Light 2, the solution is through upgrades. Some weapons can hold up to three mod slots, and you can buy blueprints for new mods from vendors dotted around the map. As long as you have the necessary components, you can add a mod to your weapon, and this will also restore some of the weapon’s durability in the process.

Adding these modifications will help restore bits of your weapon’s health as well as increase it’s durability, but they won’t be invincible. Keep a close eye on your weapon’s durability, because enough hits on it will break it for good.

Dying Light 2 is available now on PC, Xbox One, Series S/X, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
