Do Warzone Stats Reset With Season 1? Answered

What happens to your Warzone stats once Call of Duty: Warzone Season 1 drops? We have all the answers here.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 1 is coming with new content for multiplayer, Zombies, and Battle Royale. From Battle Pass weapons to new maps, the major update is set to transform the current state of Call of Duty. Warzone players have the most to look forward to, though, as Urzikstan will finally replace Al Mazrah.

With a new Battle Royale map and season on its way, Combat Records are undergoing a massive change.

Yes, Warzone stats reset with Season 1. Your previous Combat Record from a year of Warzone 2 will be wiped clean on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2023. Warzone in the Modern Warfare 3 era is a fresh start for all players.

Although the news is a bit disheartening, it makes sense given how broken the stats were throughout Warzone 2. Kills in different game modes, like Plunder, were sometimes mixed in with Battle Royale stats, making it impossible to truly know your authentic numbers. Fortunately, Raven Software announced a plan to hopefully avoid that issue in the future.

“Season 1 of Call of Duty: Warzone will launch with a fresh Combat Record, which will immediately begin showing statistics for Battle Royale,” Raven Software posted on X. “Visible stats for Resurgence and Plunder will come in later seasons.”

Even though the three separate stats will not be available right away, they will begin tracking as soon as the new season goes live.

Urzikstan matches will feature 100 players in a singular lobby. Since the map is smaller than Al Mazrah, Raven Software decreased the player count by 50.

“We believe we’ve found the right balance to offer multiple phases starting with fair infil & looting, followed by healthy mid-game engagements, and an end game climax where the best player(s) leave with the win,” Raven Software stated.

The changes spark a new future for Warzone on Urzikstan.
