Domantas Sabonis Signs Huge Extension with Kings

Domantas Sabonis has reportedly signed a huge contract extension and restructure with the Sacramento Kings. He is now earning $217 million over the next five years, which includes $195 million in brand new money.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported the news via Twitter on Saturday.

Sabonis was a leader on the Kings team that made the playoffs for the first time since 2006. In fact, they earned the West’s top seed in the playoffs in 2023. They were ousted in the first round by the (then) defending champion Warriors however.

After beginning his career in Lithuania, Sabonis moved to the states and ended up with the Thunder. He then made a name for himself with the Pacers, before being traded to the Kings as Indiana entered a rebuild. He averaged 19.1 points last year.
