Dota 2 Clinkz Guide – Search and Destroy Enemies with Skeleton Walk

There are plenty of ways you can use Skeleton Walk to search and destroy enemies in Dota 2 while playing Clinkz.

The 3 different lanes in Dota 2 aren’t the only place you can roam around to earn gold in the massively multiplayer game. You can scout the map with heroes who have an increased movement speed to catch enemy heroes off guard.

Invisible heroes in the game let you move about the map at blazing speeds to identify opportunities for easy kills throughout the matches. These heroes can turn invisible to remain undetected while discovering enemy heroes in the jungle. You can signal your friends after spotting enemy heroes near neutral creep camps and ancient creeps to ambush your opponents and take them by surprise.

Here’s a deep dive into how you can play Clinkz to search and destroy enemies using Skeleton Walk in Dota 2.

Many beginners choose Clinkz in Dota 2 games for his ability to become invisible at will. Clinkz is an Agility hero who can use his arrows to attack enemy heroes and obliterate them within seconds of breaking his invisibility. He can move quickly from lane to lane to sneak up on his enemies and carry out advanced strategies to slay his foes in battles.

The carry hero has a maximum range of 600 on his physical attacks. Clinkz can stick to towers while farming for gold to prevent getting killed early in the game. He has a base health of 520, requiring the Agility hero to stay vigilant while taking last hits in the lane.

Clinkz can head to the safe lane to be able to farm his items faster in Dota 2. The safe lane has several neutral creep camps that can provide bonus gold and experience between waves of enemy creeps.

Skeleton Walk is the first ability you need to level up while playing Clinkz in the strategy game. You can turn invisible using Skeleton Walk at level one to gain a movement speed boost of 15%. Skeleton Walk lasts for a duration of 25 seconds at level one. You can use Skeleton Walk to become invisible and flee battles to avoid giving away free kills before Clinkz has a chance to farm his core items in Dota 2 matches.

You can max out Skeleton Walk to increase the duration of the spell to 40 seconds. Clinkz gains up to 60% movement speed as a bonus with Skeleton Walk at level 4. Skeleton Walk has a cooldown of 17 seconds and consumes 80 mana to be used per cast. You can reduce the cooldown of Skeleton Walk by 3 seconds at level 10 through the Talent Tree.

Early game items, such as Magic Wand, Bracers, and Wraith Bands can be bought for Clinkz to increase his survivability. A few Bracers can provide bonus health to Clinkz while farming in lanes. You can purchase a couple of Wraith Bands to increase the attack damage and attack speed of the Bone Fletcher in the game. Buying a Magic Wand for Clinkz will help the Agility hero regain his health and mana throughout the match and can use it to cast Skeleton Walk frequently in the massively multiplayer game.

Clinkz can level up Burning Barrage to shoot arrows at incredible speeds to deal damage to multiple enemy heroes and creeps. The Bone Fletcher takes 2 seconds to channel the ability, Burning Barrage, to shoot up to 6 arrows in the direction he is facing.

Burning Barrage has a cast range of 900, providing plenty of range to destroy enemy creeps in lanes with one cast. Each arrow shot by Clinkz using Burning Barrage deals up to 65% of his attack damage. Burning Barrage has a cooldown of 18 seconds and requires 90 mana to be used per cast. You can increase the number of arrows shot by Clinkz during Burning Barrage and the damage dealt by the ability through the Talent Tree by leveling up faster in Dota 2 games.

People can deal bonus damage per attack by turning on Searing Arrows for the Bone Fletcher. Each attack can deal up to 60 damage as a bonus by using Searing Arrows at level 4. These arrows can pierce spell immunity, making it effective against heroes like Lifestealer, who can become immune to magical spells during battles.

It can take up to 10 mana per attack to use Searing Arrows, requiring Clinkz to increase his mana regeneration rate to be able to use Searing Arrows often during team fights. Clinkz can scout the map using Skeleton Walk and turn on Searing Arrows to mitigate enemy heroes with ease. You can purchase items like Void Stone from the Secret Shop to regenerate more mana between battles to cast Skeleton Walk and Burning Barrage constantly in the game while playing Clinkz.

His ulti, Death Pact, can be used to consume allied creeps, enemy creeps, and neutral creeps to boost the maximum health and attack damage of Clinkz. A maxed out Death Pact can be used on target units to provide up to 80% of the heath of consumed creeps to the Bone Fletcher. Death Pact also increases the attack damage of Clinkz by 12% after using his ulti. The bonus attack damage and health gained by Clinkz using Death Pact lasts for up to 65 seconds. Death Pact has a cooldown of 60 seconds and needs 100 mana to be used.
