'Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves' trailer: Chris Pine, Regé-Jean Page, and more head for adventure

Roll up your character sheets and get ready for adventure, because Dungeons & Dragons is coming to the big screen in Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.

The trailer for the upcoming fantasy film is pure fun, introducing us to a party not of brave adventurers, but of thieves who’ve run afoul of powerful enemies. Our party is led by Chris Pine, whose lute-strumming and one liners immediately single him out as the group’s bard. Also present are Michelle Rodriguez as an axe-wielding barbarian, Regé-Jean Page as a paladin with an badass glowing sword, Justice Smith as a magic-wielding sorcerer, and Sophia Lillis as a druid who can shapeshift into creatures like owlbears. There’s also Hugh Grant, exuding pure roguish vibes in the few seconds we see him. Between this cast, the quick flash we see of a mimic disguised as (what else?) a treasure chest, and some very cool fight sequences, I’m sold. Bring on the dungeons and the dragons.

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves hits theaters March 3, 2023.
