EA Sports PGA Tour Biggest Update to Date Now Available

A new season, multiple gameplay improvements, and a number of bug fixes make up today’s update to EA Sports PGA Tour.

Season 11 of EA Sports PGA Tour will include four new courses: the modern, parkland-style Valhalla Golf Course, North Carolina’s Pinehurst No. 2 and its undulating greens, and Royal Troon on the rugged Scotland coast. Also included is the Augusta National Par 3 Course, added in celebration of Masters week.

Moreover, making his appearance as part of this EA Sports PGA Tour update is “Golden Bear” Jack Nicklaus. He made a name for himself from his powerful drives, precision iron play, and strong putting ability on the green.

With this update, EA Sports PGA Tour features 39 playable courses and 23 playable pro golfers – all with no additional purchase.

All four can be played in Quick Play and Private Match, and will also be featured in Online and Tournament playlist rotations. Note that as previous Ryder Cup hosts, Pinehurst No. 2 and Valhalla have also been added to Ryder Cup formats in Quick Play, Online, and Private Match.

For those that’d like to catch up on the nitty-gritty, be sure to read the full set of patch notes on the official EA Sports website.

EA Sports PGA Tour is available for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Starting April 4, the title will be available to play for all EA Play members via the Play List

You can read our review of the initial EA Sports PGA Tour release, which we gave a score of 90/100:

“Featuring deep swing mechanics and incredibly detailed courses, EA Sports PGA Tour sets a new gold standard for golf games. The title is every bit as deep as one wants it to be, with RPG elements that encourage replayability and self-improvement.”
