It has not been revealed if there are any other additional activations aside from Elgato providing its products. However, in the video announcing the collaboration, Elgato’s logo was featured on the shoulder of Echo Esports’ jerseys.

Founded in 2020, Echo Esports is an organisation that focuses on the MMO esports scene, in particular World of Warcraft. In 2021, the organisation announced its expansion into Final Fantasy.

Echo Esports regularly competes in Race to World First (RWF), WoW’s highly popular esport raid event. Earlier this year the organisation’s guild became the RWF Sepulcher of the First Ones champions.

Elgato is Echo Esports’ sixth partner, joining the likes of metal poster manufacturer Displate, gaming chair manufacturer Secretlab and data analytics company Shikenso.

Despite being a highly recognised brand within esports and gaming, Elgato has always remained relatively quiet when it comes to esports partnerships. Last year, the organisation teamed up with two organisations Tribe Gaming and QUADRANT. This is Elgato’s first deal with an esports entity in 2022.

Jasmin Pötzelsberger, Head of Partnerships, Echos Esports, commented: “Since Echo was founded we’ve always dreamed of partnering with Elgato because of the insane value their products bring to our day-to-day streams and events.

“Especially when it comes to our in-house events like the ‘Race to World First’, it’s incredibly important to maintain consistent quality of audiovisual input from the players and caster.”
