EVGA RTX 3000 Cards Heist Manages To Steal Massive Shipment

It’s tough getting electronics these days. Thanks to the pandemic that put a hold on production and shipment issues, we still haven’t reached a full recovery in the markets. A good reason why so many industries are hurting is mainly the tough chips to come by. As a result, everything from household goods to automobiles is having a tough time producing because of the chip shortage.

We’re having trouble getting consoles such as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms. However, even previously released consoles like the Nintendo Switch are also finding a tough time getting into the marketplace. Unfortunately, things are not much better for PC gamers trying to improve their builds. One of the more expensive components in general for PC gaming is graphics cards.

The latest RTX 3000 cards were always hard to obtain. However, it’s making things even more complicated when robbers burst in on the scene and steal shipments. That’s what happened with EVGA RTX 3000 series cards shipped out en route from San Francisco to Southern California. During the trip, the entire truckload of EVGA branded RTX 3000 cards was jacked. EVGA has blacklisted the cards from any warranty as the company marked down all the serial numbers attached to the cards from that shipment.

Of course, that might be unbeknownst to whoever decides to pick up the card from a reseller market. So naturally, EVGA is asking those with information behind the heist to come forward. Although, chances are the cards are long gone and will eventually come out into the reseller marketplace. These days it’s challenging to enjoy games these days with the lack of available hardware to work with in terms of consoles and PC gaming. Hopefully, the chip shortage is not something we will be dealing with throughout 2022.
