Fall Guys Hits 50 Million Players in Two Weeks After Free-to-Play Launch

Mediatonic’s Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout went free-to-play on June 21st for all platforms while launching on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch for the first time. It saw 20 million players within the first 48 hours but the hype train hasn’t stopped yet. In a new tweet, the developer confirmed 50 million players within two weeks.

While such a massive number of players is noteworthy, it’s not too surprising. Epic Games revealed on June 28th that Fall Guys enjoyed more than twice the number of players as its previous peak concurrent user record. It also resulted in a “record number” of active players on the storefront with the free-to-play version’s launch.

With Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout being exclusive to the Epic Games Store on PC (though Steam users will continue to receive updates), the sky’s the limit on its success. In terms of new content, Abstergo’s Challenge recently went live, allowing players to earn cosmetics based on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Head here for more details on the same.
