FIFA 23 Eredivisie TOTS: PSV wonderkid headlines SUPER squad

As the 2022/23 domestic season nears its end, it’s time to take a look at which players have made this year’s Eredivisie TOTS.

Although the Eredivisie does not belong to Europe’s top five major leagues, it remains one of the most thrilling minor league Team of the Season (TOTS) squads.

Feyenoord is currently leading the league by a significant margin and could secure their first Dutch league title since the 2016/17 campaign. Hence, several of Arne Slot’s players have been included in the FIFA 23 TOTS promo.

Latest – Eredivisie TOTS REVEALED

EA has now officially revealed the TOTS squad, with eight players included.

It’s no surprise to see PSV wonderkid Xavi Simons headline the squad with an incredible 93 OVR item, being the Dutch league’s top scorer this season.

With the release now just a matter of hours away, the Eredivisie Team of the Season leaks are coming thick and fast

The following players have been included in the FIFA 23 Eredivisie TOTS:

  • Xavi Simons (OVR 93)
  • Dusan Tadic (OVR 92)
  • Lutsharel Geertruida (OVR 91)
  • Steven Bergwijn (OVR 91)
  • Mohammed Kudus (OVR 90)
  • Vangelis Pavlidis (OVR 90)
  • Orkun Kokcu (OVR 89)
  • Joey Veerman (OVR 88)

As well as those cards in packs, David Hancko has been given a TOTS item which can be unlocked for free via Objectives.

Xavi Simons (OVR 93)

19-year-old Xavi Simons is thriving in the Eredivisie. The Dutch wonderkid, who left Paris Saint-Germain for PSV last summer, has been incredible this season.

The teenager has registered 14 goals and eight assists in 29 league matches and is now the talesman in the PSV team.

Dusan Tadic (OVR 92)

Former Southampton attacker Dusan Tadic is the second-highest-rated player in the Eredivisie Team of the Season lineup.

As the league’s best playmaker with 17 assists and nine goals, Tadic has been handed an incredible 92 OVR TOTS item this time around.

Lutsharel Geertruida (OVR 91)

Feyenoord right-back Lutsharel Geertruida has been fantastic for the league leaders throughout the 2022/23 campaign.

Both solid defensively and a threat in attack, the Dutch full-back has contributed with three goals and one assist this term.

David Hancko (OVR 88)

Ajax’s defensive record is bettered only by Feyenoord, with Slovakian centre-back David Hancko at the heart of the defence.

Not only has Hancko been exceptional defensively this season, but he has also popped up with two goals and four assists.

Eredivisie TOTS Release Date

The schedule of the Team of the Season campaign has been all but confirmed by EA, with the rewards for FUT Champions in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team letting us know when to expect leagues to drop.

As usual, the Community TOTS kicked things off on Friday, 28 April, with the Eredivisie TOTS side joining it in packs at the same time.

As usual, the new cards were added to packs at 1pm ET / 6pm BST, with TOTS Moments cards included too.

Following the initial release, the Premier League TOTS squad is pencilled in to follow. If the minor league squads are set to be staggered in their release, there could be some crossover between the Dutch league and English top flight.

TOTS Release Schedule

Although it hasn’t been made fully official by EA, based on the FUT Champions rewards schedule and previous leaks, the predicted release schedule for each TOTS squad is as follows:

Throughout the campaign TOTS Moments items will be released in packs, via Objectives and SBCs, with the revamped TOTS Swaps System running throughout the event too.
