The 2022/23 domestic campaigns across Europe are drawing to a close and right on time, the FIFA 23 TOTS promo is underway in Ultimate Team.

As we have seen in previous editions, this year, EA will systematically release Team of the Season (TOTS) squads from selected leagues.

The Ultimate TOTS squad is the most hotly anticipated of the lot, with the world’s top-performing footballers and the very best FUT cards hand-picked to create a super-team.

Players from any league are eligible for selection for the Ultimate Team of the Season which makes it so exciting!

But who will make the blockbuster squad in FIFA 23? Take a look at our full Ultimate TOTS predictions below and find out when the squad will be released in Ultimate Team.

Ultimate TOTS Release Date

Whilst EA has not revealed an official start date just yet for the Team of the Season event in FIFA 23, we are almost certain when it will begin.

The first TOTS items will be hitting packs on Friday, 28 April, with the Premier League and Community squads kicking off proceedings.

The Ultimate TOTS is always the last of the major squads to be released and could hit FUT 23 on Friday, 9 June.

Before the full Team of the Season event arrives, we should see the TOTS Warmup Series begin on Friday, 21 April. This pre-event promo will offer players the chance to stock up on some high-value packs by completing objectives and SBCs.

Just like most releases, all the new items will be available in packs from 1pm ET / 6pm BST on the day of release.

GK – Alisson (OVR 95)

Despite the Reds’ defensive woes, Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker has remained at his usual world-class level throughout the 2022/23 campaign.

The Brazilian GK could be given a 95 OVR Team of the Season card this year and is our pick to claim the number one shirt in the Ultimate squad.

RB – Giovanni Di Lorenzo (OVR 93)

Napoli captain Giovanni Di Lorenzo has been the driving force behind the team’s success this season, leading by example from the back.

The Italian international could be about to receive the most effective right-back card in FUT 23, with a 93 OVR TOTS card in the works.

CB – Eder Militao (OVR 95)

Brazilian defender Eder Militao is the leader in the Real Madrid backline and has been brilliant throughout the 2022/23 league campaign.

Excelling in pace, defending and physicality, Militao is already one of the best CBs in FIFA 23 and could be about to go to a whole new level with a 95 OVR TOTS item.

CB – William Saliba (OVR 94)

Arsenal and France sensation William Saliba has been THE outstanding centre-back in the Premier League this season.

The 22-year-old could be given an incredible 94 OVR TOTS card that will be even more overpowered than his Fantasy FUT item which sells for over 500,000 coins.

LB – Alphonso Davies (OVR 93)

22-year-old Alphonso Davies has once again been electric for Bayern Munich, providing four assists from the full-back position as well as one goal.

Should the Canadian international be selected for a TOTS card this year, he will no doubt have the best left-back item in the FUT 23 database.

CM – Jude Bellingham (OVR 96)

England starlet Jude Bellingham will surely make the Bundesliga Team of the Season squad and potentially with the best card on the German league roster.

The 19-year-old could be set for a sensational 96 OVR item that possesses 97 Dribbling, 94 Passing, 93 Physicality and 91 Defending.

CM – Kevin De Bruyne (OVR 98)

Despite perhaps falling slightly below his lofty standards, Kevin De Bruyne is still arguably the best central midfielder in world football and will no doubt make the Premier League TOTS XI.

As a result, the Belgian will likely be given the highest-rated TOTS card of any midfielder in the game, with a huge 98 OVR special item set to boast insane stats across the board.

RW – Lionel Messi (OVR 98)

Having missed out on the FIFA 22 Ultimate Team of the Season, EA will surely include the 2022 World Cup-winning captain, Lionel Messi this time around.

The little Argentine magician is set for a 98 OVR special item that could possess 99 Dribbling, 98 Shooting and 98 Passing.

LW – Vinicius Junior (OVR 96)

As one of the most overpowered base cards in the entire game, there’s no doubt Vinicius Junior will be claiming the left-wing spot in the Ultimate TOTS.

The Real Madrid forward’s 92 OVR FUT Birthday item sells for a whopping three million coins on the transfer market, so we can’t even begin to imagine how expensive his potential 96 OVR TOTS card could be.

ST – Erling Haaland (OVR 98)

The Ultimate Team of the Season strike partnership is rather predictable this year, with Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe setting the standard across Europe.

The Manchester City striker is in the process of breaking pretty much every Premier League goalscoring record and could be rewarded with a quite ridiculous 98 OVR card.

ST – Kylian Mbappe (OVR 98)

Arguably the most dangerous forward in world football, Ligue 1’s top goalscorer Kylian Mbappe is a shoo-in for the Ultimate TOTS squad.

Already the best attacker in the game, Mbappe’s Team of the Season card could go one step further than his 97 OVR TOTY card that still sells for over 11 million coins.

Other notable contenders:
