Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests Guide Season 1

These are all of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests, all of the times quests in Season 1 you need to complete to get through the Battle Pass.

Fortnite Chapter 4 has kicked off with a new map and loads of new content. If you want to hit the highest tiers of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Battle Pass and unlock skins like Doom Slayer and Geralt, though, you’ll have to gain a lot of XP. If you want the bonus skins, you’ll need even more than just getting through the standard 100. The Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests are one of the best ways to get high XP, quickly.

The Fortnite quests are divided between the seasonal questlines, dailies, and then the weeklies. While the daily quests are the most pressing, once you’ve quickly grabbed those three the weeklies are the next challenges for you to do. Some of these can be tricky, though. If you want to get things done quickly, you’ll need to make sure you’re using the best strategies.

There have been a few changes to how Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests work this season. Compared to Chapter 3, you’ll have to act on the quests more quicker. They now reset. That means if you miss them, you miss them. In the past, you could leave them all until the last day before you even acted. Now you’ve got to get on them that week or they’ll expire. This makes it more important to get them done faster than in previous Seasons.

These are all of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests and the best ways to get the more complicated ones done.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 Weekly Quest

Week 0 Weekly Quests

Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests

The opening week of quests isn’t counting as a full week, instead Epic seems to be calling it Week 0. However, they do still expire and work just like the other Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests. These are all of the Week 0 challenges:

Damage 50 Opponents While Augmented

This is one of the simplest quests here. All you need to do is damage opponents after the Fortnite Augments have become active. This happens just with the first storm phase, so players only really need to survive off of spawn for damage to count here. It shouldn’t be too hard to rack up 50 instances of damage outside of spawn, even in a week! Although, bush campers might need to get a bit braver for this one of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests.

Damage Opponents with New or Unvaulted Weapons

Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests

  • Damage opponents 250 times
  • 16,000 XP

This quest is also fairly easy as long as you remember the weapons for Fortnite Chapter 3! If you’re not sure, these are all of the new and unvaulted weapons this season:

  • Red-Eye Assault Rifle
  • Maven Auto Shotgun
  • Thunder Shotgun
  • Ex-Caliber Rifle
  • Twin Mag SMG
  • Tactical Pistol
  • Shockwave Hammer
  • Assault Rifle
  • DMR
  • Machine SMG
  • Rocket Launcher
  • Primal Flame Bow
  • Primal Stink Bow
  • Shockwave Bow
  • Unstable Bow
  • Cluster Bow
  • Tactical Assault Rifle
  • Combat Shotgun

Grab some of these weapons and damage opponents a few separate times. While 250 is a lot, this is going to cover most interactions in the game. Pretty much the entire loot pool is new.

Open Chests in Hot Spots

  • 3 Chests Need to be Opened
  • 16,000 XP

Hot spots are the areas on the map where you’re going to find higher-tier loot faster than elsewhere. To do this one of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests, you just need to land in a hot spot in a game and find three chests. These are often hot drops, too though, so if you die off spawns you can do this over multiple games.

You can recognize the hot spots in the game by their yellow lettering. Their spots will have loot drones active. There’s typically a handful in each game. Focus on chests rather than the drones to get this quest done, though.

Visit Named Locations in a Single Match

Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests

  • Visit 6 Locations in One Match
  • 16,000 XP

This one takes a bit more planning, just since six named locations is a bit of a longer rotation than normal. You’ll need to visit all six in a single match, not across the week. To do this, the best idea is to make heavy use of rotation items and vehicles. You can also try to pick the six named locations that are closer to each other. There’s a fair cluster on the left side of the map that are all relatively close.

You can also make use of a dirt bike or shockwave hammer. Both of these have quests attached to them, so it’s a good way of killing two birds with one stone.  You’ll likely have to rely on a bit of luck with zones too. A game where you land on one side of the map and have to rotate to the other will make it easiest to knock off six different locations for this one of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests.

Earn Experience in Creator Made Experiences

  • 50,000 XP needs to be earned
  • 16,000 XP

This is a bit of a repeat of the daily quests that were at the beginning of last season. You’ll need to gain 50,000 XP across creator-made levels. If you already have a parkour or death run that you use for the similar daily quest, then using that one is probably the quickest. Otherwise, this one is just a matter of putting the time in. Head into creative and find an XP-valid map that you can burn off pretty quickly.

Bounce with the Shockwave Hammer

Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests

Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests

  • 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 Increment Challenges
  • 16,000 XP

The shockwave hammer has a fun secondary function where you can bounce using the ADS button. This is one of the best rotation tools around at the moment. This quest, even the 200 level, can be done surprisingly quickly. It also seems that Hammers have separate cooldowns. If you’re carrying more than one, you can really get things done.

By using multiple shockwave hammers, you can switch between them once the cooldown kicks in, this should allow you to cycle between them at a speed where you’re never left waiting for one to get bounces back. It’s. little obnoxious to other players, but you can easily use this method to get to 200 bounces relatively quickly. This one could also be combined with visiting named locations.

Travel Distance with a Dirt Bike

  • 600, 1,200, 3000, 6,000, 12,000 Increment Challenges
  • 16,000 XP

This one of the Fortnite Chapter 4 weekly quests aims to get players on the latest form of transportation. There isn’t too much strategy involved in this one, just get on a bike and rack up the miles. After 12,000 you’ll have finished every tier of this quest and polished off the Fortnite Chapter 4 quests for this week.

This one is probably the most time intensive. It makes sense just to make sure you’re rotating with the dirt bike whenever possible. If you’re really struggling to get it done, you can always just head into Team Rumble and drive until you finish your quest, you’ll probably pass a milestone quest or two along the way too.

Do Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests Expire?

The Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests have changed. They now expire. If you don’t do them in that one week, you don’t get them. Epic may have done this to try and get payers to stick around throughout a Season.

In the past, you didn’t have to worry about weeklies. You could let them all pile up. Then, at the end of the season, just head into Team Rumble for a few hours and bash out an entire Season’s worth of XP. With the no system, that’s not on the table anymore. If you don’t complete this on time you don’t get the XP, they don’t seem to be coming back.

This is a shame as it pushes players to keep to yet another schedule on top of completing daily quests. However, since they’re not cumulative across the season. There aren’t the overarching larger rewards for completing 70+ quests, so missing a few won’t exactly mean you miss out on the Battle Pass. You’ll want to hit the milestones for completing a few of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests though.

The quests, for the most part, aren’t too hard to complete, though. If players can adapt to completing these throughout the week, they can still get the Fortnite Chapter 4 Battle Pass completed as soon as possible!

When Do New Weekly Quests Update?

The new weekly quests are due to appear in the game on Thursdays. Although you have a bit longer to actually complete the Week 0 quests, these last a week and a half, thanks to the early launch of the Chapter.

What Do You Get from the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests?

The only reward for the weekly quests is XP. This is pretty important, though. Outside of daily quests, these weeklies are just about the only way that you can get through the Battle Pass. There are a lot of XP gates that you’re going to need to get through. Players have to really crunch to get those bonus skins.

The Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests are a great way to unlock all of the cosmetics. Now that there’s a timer on it, though, you’ll have to act fast if you want to get everything you can. Make sure you’re getting through these quests every week to get everything that you can out of the Battle Pass.
