Although 9 a.m. ET is the predicated start time for Fortnite OG Season 9 & X, there could be unexpected delays or server issues that push back the update. All three previous Fortnite OG updates have kicked off on time, but do not be alarmed if the update takes longer than usual.

Fortnite OG Season 7 ends on Thursday, Nov. 23, 2023, at 4 a.m. ET. Matchmaking will be disabled thirty minutes prior as Epic Games replaces Fortnite OG Season 7 with the next Fortnite OG season.

Yes, Season X is the final Fortnite OG update. The throwback season will conclude with Season X before Fortnite Chapter 5 launches on Sunday, Dec. 3, 2023.
