The Fortnite Refer a Friend program is back once again, allowing players to earn a variety of cosmetics for playing with a friend. Here’s how players can register and be on their way to earning rewards.
Signing Up
Fortnite Refer A Friend 2022 can be broken down into three steps:
- Go to the Refer a Friend website with the preferred Epic Games account.
- Invite up to five eligible friends via the website to play Fortnite.
- Complete in-game tasks together.
Once players registered and logged into the Refer a Friend website, the referrers can invite friends to earn points by playing Fortnite together. In order to be a referee, a player must have played less than two hours of a Fortnite Battle Royale or Zero Build playlist within the past 30 days before the invite.
Both players can earn their points by playing matches in Fortnite together, earning eliminations in Battle Royale and/or Zero Build, or leveling up their Fortnite account. Both referrers and referees need to be friends in-game to participate in this program. Only referrers need to register themselves and their friends on the event’s website.
Rewards
Players are given a list of challenges to follow and can track their progress on the Refer a Friend website until challenge goals are met. Once a goal is met, the referrer and referee will receive their associated reward. Here are the challenges and their respective rewards.
- Add a Fortnite friend
Double Draw Spray
- Play 1 Game with a referee/friend
Immortal Oasis Wrap
- Place Top 10 6 Times with a referee/friend
Oasis Wind Backbling
- Eliminate 45 Enemies with a referee/friend
Oasis Wind Pickaxe
- Gain plus 60 LVLs by yourself and wait for a friend to gain plus 60 LVLs too
Xander Outfit
While referrers can participate with up to five different referees, each participant can only earn a reward once.
Players can begin to register with friends between July 19, 2022, and January 10, 2023. All of their challenges must be completed together before February 19, 2023.
