Fortnite Week 13 Quests

The final week of Fortnite Chapter 5 Weekly Quests are here! This is our last batch before the season ends. Perfect if you still need to finish up a few of those bonus rewards in the C5 Battle Pass.

For the first time in a while too, they’re here on time. These are all of the Fortnite Week 13 Quests.

Successfully Surmont Superior Summit (15K)

This is a nice easy one, once you know where to go.

For this quest all you need to do is climb up the Superior Summit mountain at some point in a game This isn’t a marked POI or major landing spot. However, it is pretty easy to find.

This is where you can locate it. It’s just east of Hazy Hillside, as you can below.

Travel Distance While Restoring Health or Shields (100) 15K XP

The next of the Fortnite Weekly quests is to move while healing. A new feature for the Chapter, if you’ve missed it for three months this quest should get you used to it!

All you need to do is move around while restoring health or shield up to 100.

Since this only goes up to a full blue shield heal, most players can probably get it done in a single game. Just remember to be constantly on the move while taking your shield pots.

While meds are now available while moving, some don’t work, Avoid fish or vegetables which make you stand still and the Fortnite weekly quests are simple.

Catch or Collect Fish (10) 15K – Fortnite Weekly Quests

Pots and med kits have gotten a buff this season. But what about the old top tier Fortnite item for healing? Fishing is still here. It’s just not nearly as useful. This one of the Fortnite Week 13 Quests aims to get players back in the water.

For this quest, you’ll need to catch or collect 10 fish. This is one that’s probably easiest to get done in Team Rumble right now.

Drop in by some water, find a rod, and just fish until it completes. There are other methods, although it could get frustrating fishing in Battle Royale when everyone is running single-shot-kill snipers. It’s simple in Team Rumble though.

Eliminate Enemy Players Within 7 Seconds of Reloading a Weapon 5 (15K)

Best Fortnite Chapter 5 Weapons

This one of the Fortnite weekly challenges has a surprisingly low reward of XP given that it’s calling for five kills. There are some ways to make this a bit easier for yourself though.

For the Fortnite weekly quests in Week 13, you need to eliminate players within a short gap of reloading. 7 seconds is around long enough to get this done with just about most weapons.

Players skilled with a sniper can probably just reload right before they take the shot. If you’re more of a close combat fighter though, shotguns work fine too. There’s a solution if you just can’t get this one done though.

The Fortnite Mod System can work well here. Taking an SMG or similar weapon, and attaching mods that speed up reload time will go a long way. This even works on the Auto Shotgun.

This will make your gun reload much faster. When reloading in the middle of a fight, you’ll be able to follow up on your shots and get the kill. It’s good practice to switch rather than reload in most cases, but it should be achievable for this one of the Fortnite weekly quests.

Block Damage or Deal Damage to Enemy Players With the Ballistic Shield (500) 15K

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1

Another kind of tricky one. You’ll need to find a Ballistic Shield and block 500 incoming damage or deal that much. It’s enough to stagger your shield multiple times. This one might take a while.

The first challenge for this part of the Fortnite Week 13 quests is just finding a Ballistic Shield in this loot pool. This alone could take a few tries.

Team Rumble might help but shorter looting times can mean a lot of time spent re-queuing. If you luck out in that mode though, the rest of the quest is a lot easier.

Since the damage needed for the quest will stagger you and leave you open, you’ll have to switch out. Don’t try and do it all in one go. If you’re in Team Rumble you can just block and wait for enemies to get you over the 500 line.

In Battle Royale, it’s better to use this to near capacity each firefight, switch out, and then fight normally. Repeat with each encounter. It might take some time to get to 500.

Another method would be to use the damage opponents’ option, but that can be even more irritating. It relies too much on random chance in positioning to really be quicker.

Eliminate Enemy Players Using the First Weapon You Collect in a Match (3) 30K – Fortnite Weekly Challenges

This last one of the Fortnite Week 13 quests could be difficult for some players. You’re not going to drop on a Rare chest most of the time. You can work around it though.

Pure luck is one thing. Another option is to drop at a quiet POI for this one of the Fortnite weekly quest. Don’t pick anything up until you want to commit. If you find one of the best Fortnite weapons like a Sniper you should be safe in any rarity.

Shotguns are equally useful in most varieties. If you’re not comfortable getting enough kills with a grey gun though, there is a different solution.

The Ninja Turtle mending machines around the map allow you to get a Mythic as your first weapon. Switching to these for the killing blow of a close combat fight is fairly easy. It should help to finish the quest off.
