Galactic Civilizations IV: Supernova Announced

The popular 4x strategy and simulation franchise from Stardock, Galactic Civilizations, is soon to welcome a brand new installment with the upcoming release of Galactic Civilizations IV: Supernova. Set in the 24th century, Galactic Civilizations IV will build on the roots of its predecessors as players take on the role of a spacefaring civilization, facing the challenges of colonizing a huge and expansive universe.

The latest addition to the popular 4x strategy franchise promises a wealth of new features including an updated combat system and the introduction of Terror Stars. Terror Stars promises power of unprecedented levels as players will be able to destroy entire planets and stars with but a single shot. Other updated elements include new alien civilizations, a new cultural progression system, and new research.
