50K is more than ok, but I was hoping for an actual (even a small 8 player DE bracket) tournament, tbh..

you were hoping for a proper orga by the folks of ESL? that s your issue right there 
But their first announcement did indeed make it seem like there would be an online (ie qualifier) phase then the offline tournament, instead this is a glorified blizzcon style.
Hopefully unlike some years (2009 anyone?) we will have all 3 races and not just T and Z at least and also somewhat active players and not reach vs oov and july vs boxer.
Given who they are, I wouldnt put it past them to get saviour ^^

I think they had a few 2:2’s of BW vs SC2 pros and they played some games on BW and SC2. I think rain was there.

They probably will invite 2-4 players only for some BW showmatches. Considering that, 50k is pretty big.

Saudis had a good chance here, they probably fucked it up already.
Considering its called “legends” i suppose this will be invite of OGs, so really no content to the likes of BSL or ASL.

That was an actual tournament though, not even that terrible too.
This “exhibition” is not going to even come close to that level I bet. What a shame, really.
