After finishing the Snowy Past quest, you should check the event panel to see something called Born of the Snow. If you click on the button on the bottom-right, it should show you a specific location on the map. Genshin Impact Shadows Amidst Snowstorms event guide – How to build a Puffy Snowman
When you do arrive at the location, which is just west of the Adventurer’s Camp in Dragonspine, you’ll notice that you can interact with the snowman’s body. Unfortunately, we’re missing the rest of its parts. Here’s where you can find these:
- Snowman Heads – The Snowman Heads can be found as rewards when you complete objectives in the Dragonspine Combat Training and Dragonspine Tracker Training.
- Snowman Components – For everything else like hats and other accessories, you can try your luck when you’re doing the Dragonspine Tracker Training activity. The ice blocks that you melt will, more often than not, contain a component.
Asking your friends
Alternatively, you can ask your friends for help. Open the Born of the Snow panel and click on Exchange Components. The first tab allows you to gift excess items, though try not to go overboard because your pals might need something specific instead.
The second tab, meanwhile, allows you to receive stuff from your buddies. If you want to make a specific request, click on Wishlist to see the components that you’ve already obtained, as well as those that you don’t have yet.
Making your own Frosty
Once you have a Snowman Head and all the components, just return to the earlier location. You can then select the types of items you’d want your snowman to have. I’m not sure if anything specific is required for the Puffy Snowman in Genshin Impact, but I was just randomly picking various stuff and this task still got completed.
When you’re done, just save your work and check the panel to collect your rewards. You’ll receive 20,000x mora, as well as the Cinnabar Spindle 4-star sword.
Note: The Born of the Snow panel only has the Snowman Mark One task. The others will become available in the coming days as we progress further in the Shadows Amidst Snowstorms event in Genshin Impact.
